چکیده

Abstract Background 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) plays important roles in insect molting and metamorphosis. 20E-induced autophagy has been detected during the larval–pupal transition different insects. In Bombyx mori , is induced by 20E larval fat body. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) function various biological processes many organisms, including Many lncRNAs have reported to be potential for occurrence mammals, but it not investigated Results RNA libraries from body of B. dissected at 2 6 h post-injection with were constructed sequenced, comprehensive analysis mRNAs was performed. A total 1035 identified, 905 lincRNAs 130 antisense lncRNAs. Compared mRNAs, had longer transcript length fewer exons. 132 found differentially expressed post injection, compared 64 injection. Thirty common post-injection, hypothesized associated response. Target gene predicted 6493 lncRNA-mRNA cis pairs 42,797 trans pairs. The expression profiles LNC_000560 highly consistent its target genes, Atg4B RNAi significantly decreased . These results indicated that potentially involved regulating Conclusions This study provides genome-wide identification functional characterization identified related 20-regulated will helpful further studying regulatory mechanisms other this model.

The Role of Long Non-Coding RNAs in Ovarian Cancer

Background: Ovarian cancer is the most fatal tumor of female's reproductive system, and several genetics and environmental factors are involved in its development. Various studies have already identified suitable biomarkers to facilitate the early detection, prognosis evaluation, and the assessment of treatment response. However, the aim of this review was to investigate the role of long non-co...

Systematic Identification and Characterization of Long Non-Coding RNAs in the Silkworm, Bombyx mori

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are emerging as important regulators in various biological processes. However, to date, no systematic characterization of lncRNAs has been reported in the silkworm Bombyx mori. In the present study, we generated eighteen RNA-seq datasets with relatively high depth. Using an in-house designed lncRNA identification pipeline, 11,810 lncRNAs were identified for 5,556 l...

Long non-coding RNAs and their significance in human diseases

Protein-coding genes account for only a small fraction of the human genome and most of the genomic sequences are transcriptionally silent, but recent observations indicate significant functional elements, including non-coding protein transcripts in the human genome. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been defined as transcripts of >200 nucleotides without protein-coding capacity that perform t...

SOX2OT, a long non-coding RNA involved in autophagy regulation

Summary: SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT) is a long non-coding RNA associated with cancer pathogenesis. It contributes to a variety of cellular functions and recent evidence propounds its association with autophagy process. It has been showed that SOX2OT can regulate the expression of different autophagy associated factors in human cells with different mechanisms, however more remains to ...

Effect of 20-Hydroxyecdysone on the Reproductive Potential of Multivoltine Mulberry Silkworm (Bombyx mori Linn.)

The application of 20-hydroxyecdysone on Bombyx mori larvae has been proved to be a significance in the sericulture industry. Variation in the 20-hydroxyecdysone concentration significantly (P <0.05) influenced 1 the reproductive potential of B. mori in terms of fecundity, incubation period and hatchability of eggs. The fecundity and hatchability increased with the increasing number of larval t...
